Cottages built in a year 2006 are located on the waterfront of lake Väätänen. These cottages are two-storey cottages with an open-plan kitchen/living room with a fireplace and a twin-bedded room, a wood-heated sauna, a bathroom with shower/W.C. and a terrace overlooking the lake on the 1st floor and a sleeping loft for 5 persons and a balcony on the 2nd floor. There is also a sofa bed on the1st floor and a bed for a smaller child on the 2nd floor for additional bedding.

To the lakeshore there is about 50 meters. On the shore there is a pier with staircase to the water for swimming, a rowing boat, a lean-to and also grill hut for a joint use of these two cottages.

We don’t charge an advance payment when making the reservation. You either pay the total sum in advance or when arriving to cottage in cash or debit card.

The linen, bed making and cottage/house cleaning does not include to the price. For additional payment we also do the cleaning and provide the linen. If the cottage has not been cleaned properly, we charge an extra fee afterwards.

The Old Väätänen is an old family estate in the middle of Finland. The estate has been settled since 1565. The main house has been an inn. Today we, the 9th generation, do business in forestry, tourism and cottage rentals. -
